Casual Night Out

sometimes there are those nights where you know exactly what to wear. other times you seem to search endlessly in your closet for SOMETHING that will work. this little dress is the perfect thing to wear for a "casual night out". this dress can work for so many occasions that its not even funny. pair it with some sandals or some booties and youre ready to go!

this was the perfect little dress for a quiet night walking around town. i went on a trip with a friend and her son for four days traveling along four states. we arrived in Pagosa Springs for our last night, and decided to walk around town.

since we weren't doing much that night, all i needed was a clutch large enough to hold my wallet and phone. plus you can never go wrong with oversized sunglasses. especially when you're on your last leg on a road trip and the bags under your eyes are so real.

this night turned out to be one of my favorites of the entire trip. it was quiet. it was real. we found the cutest little stores along the town strip. it was starting to get late so most of them were closing shop. we found a little place that was still open and we made our way inside because we saw they sold beignets. these beignets yall. holy moly.

if you ever find yourself in Pagosa Springs, walk down the strip along the river. look for the sign that says beignets and stop to treat yourself.
