makeup favorites

this is by far my most favorite mascara in the world. it curls my lashes, coats them as much as i want depending on how many layers i put on. and it doesnt flake off. they also have a waterproof version, but im not a fan of waterproof mascaras, they are too harsh on my lashes. anyways, this one is the bomb.com

i first saw this lipstick on a video that went viral on the internet, and it was a swatch on the arm and a girl put SOAP on it and put her arm under the water faucet and scrubbed it with her hand and the lipstick DIDNT budge. i was in love with the color and so intrigued by the video that i went and bought it for myself. yall it works like the video. i have to take this lipstick off with oil-free eye makeup remover. thats the only thing i can get it off with. ive heard coconut or olive oil works the same way too. but you get the point, its basically glue.

okay so if you struggle with doing your eyeliner, this is the perfect thing for you. it is just like a little pen that you can draw on your eyeliner with. it dries fairly fast so you dont have to worry about it smudging. it isnt waterproof and that has seemed to be the only downfall for most people. i actually like it though, because half way through the day i usually wipe it all off anyways, and i dont like to work very hard when i am trying to get all my makeup off. plus, i dont want to be scrubbing at my eyes because its not healthy for the skin around your eyeballs(;

if youve ever used the "anastasia beverly hill brow wiz", then this is something you need to try. its the exact same thing except its literally $5. its awesome. i dont think i will ever buy an expensive brow product again after using this gem.

these drugstore foundations are BAE. glowy or matte, oily or dry skin, they have you covered. they are fairly heavy foundations, so if youre not into that, you might have to have a really light hand. but they are long wearing and they both make your skin look FAB.

JACLYN HILL FACE PALETTE: SOLD OUT CURRENTLY

this palette is incredible. jaclyn hill released it earlier this year, and she brought back some for the holiday season. it features 3 blushes and 2 of her signature highlighters. this baby sells out sooooo fast. i am lucky i got my hands on it when it first released. i was that crazy girl hitting refresh every five seconds when launching and relaunching was announced. what can i say jaclyn is my girl, ive been following her for years. just ask my mother. i used to tell her about jaclyn and jons lives back in high school. obsessive? nope, shes like my bff basically.

i have worn mary kay since i first started wearing makeup, and i can honestly say that ALL their products are holy grails of mine. this is one of their newest releases. and i am IN LOVE. its a color corrector for under the eyes. it has a pink tone, so it cancels out any blue or purple. so bye bye under eye bags.

this powder comes in 2 different tones. a light one that i bronze with and the darker one i concentrate more for contouring. its awesome. it doesnt get muddy and has a really nice pigment pay off. the only problem some might have is that its not a matte bronzer. it does have some sheen in it but its not sparkly so it mainly just gives your skin a healthy glow.

this powder is definitely one i was talking about when i said holy grail products. this powder is full coverage but its not cakey. i love wearing this to set my foundation on my entire face, but if i dont wear foundation i will take a buffing brush and buff it into my skin for a lighter makeup day. its one of my favorites. obviously.

this powder is a beauty world favorite for sure. if you go onto youtube and watch pretty much any makeup artist tutorial, you will see them use this powder. it is PERFECT for setting your concealer under the eyes. it doesnt cake up, and it keeps everything in place and strays away from it settling in fine lines. its also really great to set foundation with. the other good thing is it doesnt have any flashback. you wont look like a ghost in pictures with this powder.

essie nail polishes are my favorite because i think they look the most like you went and had your nails done professionally. it takes two coats and its done, plus it dries fairly fast. i like the color fiji because its a light enough pink that its still considered a neutral, but it doesnt look like you painted your nails with white out.

i know this is a little bit different of a post than past ones, but like ive said before, this blog is pretty much randomness. these are my holy grails/favorites. if youre looking for some new makeup, make sure to try these out. they are all fairly reasonably priced and they are all super great quality. anyways. happy saturday loves. and happy holla-days.

all my best always
