HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
i personally love this time of year because it is full of celebrations. i love celebrations because it gives me a good reason to get all dressed up and wear something pretty.
new years is one of my favorite holidays because it is all about fresh beginnings and new resolutions for self improvement. i am well aware that most resolutions never make it past the first month. but hey. shoot for the stars.
i dont think you can ever go wrong with a little black dress. they are classic. something i have developed, is my love for pretty details in backs. this one is dainty and barely there tbh. you would definitely need some type of coat to go over this, because well, full blown winter is in swing.
the heels were something i saw online and fell in love with IMMEDIATELY. they are fun and fuzzy and i thought they would be perfect for a fun night out.
ill say this again, i love new years. i love it because it is a known mile marker for new beginnings. a chance to start a year over and be a better you. whatever that may entail. i personally just want consistency in my life. from the relationships i make to going to the gym. consistency is key.
i will add the disclaimer to this. the bubbly drink that is featured in the glass is a sparkling grape juice. and the big bottle of "moet" is a prop, and completely empty. i thought it was cute and would add to the new years theme. a special thank you to Crush Wine Bar and Deli for letting me borrow the prop for the shoot. if you live in Amarillo, Crush is a favorite restaurant of mine, and you can also get all of your holiday beverages there (IF YOU ARE OF AGE) (:
